Pros

Pay is alright, bonuses can be good sometimes. Training is good in theory Benefits are great

Cons

They have a bonus structure right along with a structure to make you lose it. It got really hard to admit I worked there due to some of the policy changes in regards to client accounts, fees, and finance charges. Expect to have a revolving door for management, along with their expectations of you. They didn't even have enough cubicles with working computers for you to find one with your assigned team and they still kept on hiring more people. It became impossible to find a computer that worked on some days. Having to explain to my manager why I clocked in late got old, he had no idea how to even do the job he was managing either.

Pros

Hybrid schedule, supportive managers, opportunities

Cons

Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
