Pros
No pros to really elaborate on
Cons
Training is non existent. New starts will be sat next to an existing employee for 2 weeks then left to their own devices. Office culture is horrible. Everyone there is miserable and the days drag because of it. There are "cliques" which you wouldn't expect in an adult workplace, and often these are the same people getting promotions etc rather than the ones working hard who deserve it. Salary is mediocre and nothing special in the current market. You can get a lot more elsewhere for less work. Workload is intense to the point you will work at least 2 hours additional per day, but you wont be paid for this. Once you have added all your additional hours, you are basically working for less than minimum wage. Social events and even the Christmas dinner are not paid for by Citi which is outrageous considering how huge the company is. Much smaller companies pay for their employees Christmas dinner. Understaffed because of all the reasons above. You will soon find yourself burned out and exhausted, signed off on the sick. The good news is, you do get full sick pay to compensate the company making you have a complete nervous breakdown. Occupational health will harass you every couple of weeks though asking when you're coming back to work. How about never?
