Everything that I want to say has already been mentioned a million times before, the horror stories about management are true for the most part. The incessant micromanagement (down to the seconds), the egos, the superiority complexes, etc. It's all there. The day of my first shift my manager told me that I should save toilet breaks for actual break time and personal time should never be used at all for anything which really set the tone for the job in general. She was mostly unavailable for any help or support, seemed to spend most of her time in endless "meetings" and incessantly micromanage people via phone text. Just a bit of a joke all around.
My retired father wanted to work here part-time for a bit of extra money and something to do and I pleaded not to, the thought of him being bossed around by one of the many jumped up little dictators in this place was too painful.
Literally could write a huge essay on the shortcomings of this place but just wanted to quickly paint a picture. Only work here if there's literally nothing else going yet or as a bridge to another job - happiness, fulfilment or opportunities will not be found here. Needless to say, the pay is poor here too - minimum wage of course. Never worked for a company with so much contempt for their own workforce and that's the truth. I'm glad I was offered another position elsewhere.
