Pros

In the 18 months I've been with HP Enterprise Services, it has been a constant struggle. The only positive part of my experience were the high caliber individuals supporting the sales team.

Cons

I was originally hired by HP Enterprise Services in 2016. Since that time I've witnessed corporate restructuring and multiple waves of layoffs (even before the merger with CSC). Now that HP Enterprise Services and CSC have merged , it has become absolutely cutthroat. People are being terminated left and right. Severance packages are ridiculously low. I expect there will be a number of lawsuits related to wrongful termination and discrimination due to the way decisions are being made by HP ES leadership. It's truly become a popularity contest and is unrelated to skills or actual results. If you're an independent thinker and like to challenge status quo on occasion, this is not the company for you. Sales leadership is virtually non-existent and we jokingly referred to our sales leader as the sales prevention department.

Pros

Company just born out of a merger of CSC and the old EDS spun off by HPE Seems to be a good match of size and capabilities A lot more business opportunities, a much larger sales and delivery capability Great people in the trenches, smart, talented, experienced Stock price through the roof for three years straight...but options no longer given out to employees Brilliant CTO

Cons

Same CEO as CSC, which means no raises or bonuses, constant cutting (value retention) Drive for more off-shoring, landed resources (Indians brought to America on bogus visa justifications, for six month intervals). Replacing people with software as fast as possible Replacing experienced people with inexperienced people as fast as possible Ridiculous sales goals set by people who have never sold anything in their lives
