Pros

It can be a stepping stone to other careers

Cons

They've never heard of raises. In fact its openly discussed and joked about in front of management. It's one thing for coworkers to discuss future goals and other places they are interested in working at but within the first few days of working here everyone openly talks about how most people don't last more than a year before moving onto something better. In other words high turnover. No effort is made to retain good employees so long time people tend to be disgruntled and lack social graces. Mostly the personalities of management are neglectful and only interested in fixing issues that directly effect them or make their jobs difficult. Otherwise they can't be bothered to enact any changes even if it requires no effort from them. It's best to focus on yourself and do your best to ignore the attitudes and poor management choices that could leave you upset.

Pros

Company just born out of a merger of CSC and the old EDS spun off by HPE Seems to be a good match of size and capabilities A lot more business opportunities, a much larger sales and delivery capability Great people in the trenches, smart, talented, experienced Stock price through the roof for three years straight...but options no longer given out to employees Brilliant CTO

Cons

Same CEO as CSC, which means no raises or bonuses, constant cutting (value retention) Drive for more off-shoring, landed resources (Indians brought to America on bogus visa justifications, for six month intervals). Replacing people with software as fast as possible Replacing experienced people with inexperienced people as fast as possible Ridiculous sales goals set by people who have never sold anything in their lives
