Pros

Flexible remote work options, and that's it

Cons

Massive drive to downsize and save on costs everywhere. - The computer you own will be a refurb. That's right, even though DXC gets its computrs from its parent company HP, they are too cheap to get you a good machine. Keys fell off by the time the machine was unboxed! - Infrastructure and software offerings are terrible. In their quest to save on costs, they make sure to delay payments as much as possible. What should be an easy file transfer, can take upwards of hours on a bad day. - Because the software is limited, this means you're using archaic software, and archaic processes. You will be using outdated software, and outdated processes, simply because there is no money to upgrade -Your responsibilities will go up, but not compensation and job title. This is by design. It allows DXC to pay you less for more. - DXC is moving to "low cost" centers, meaning less pay and bigger reason to outsource. I gathered that on average, your pay will be 30-50% under market value

Pros

Company just born out of a merger of CSC and the old EDS spun off by HPE Seems to be a good match of size and capabilities A lot more business opportunities, a much larger sales and delivery capability Great people in the trenches, smart, talented, experienced Stock price through the roof for three years straight...but options no longer given out to employees Brilliant CTO

Cons

Same CEO as CSC, which means no raises or bonuses, constant cutting (value retention) Drive for more off-shoring, landed resources (Indians brought to America on bogus visa justifications, for six month intervals). Replacing people with software as fast as possible Replacing experienced people with inexperienced people as fast as possible Ridiculous sales goals set by people who have never sold anything in their lives
