Pros

If you work hard and get lucky with a good account set and good boss, the money is there. M-F, 40-50 hours per week, no weekends, no travel. I have a great boss (very rare here) who is very supportive and can work from home a couple days a week, with zero micro mgt.

Cons

This company is very segmented leading to more competition between divisons than there seems to be with other IT companies. Constant political battles that hurt the customers and the employees in the long and short term. If you do well for too long, quota will keep going up until it is not possible to hit. You can be the king of Dell one minute, and on the chopping block the next. They generally move you around from one account set to the next every 6-9 months, with seemingly no long term plan. At this point, the only way to management is to be a yes man and be all the right people's friend little to no weight is put on the ability to do the job well or lead a team. Huge disconnect between middle and upper management. Main tools that are essential to the job (quoting, placing orders, inventory) fail on a daily basis causing constant "work arounds".

Pros

At this point? None honestly.

Cons

They did a complete 180 since I got hired. Came in as remote during COVID and now that they forced most people back to the office, they made us 3rd class citizens in the company. Can't get a raise, a promotion, any spiffs or even the same contests that the people in the office do. This company does not keep promises and has been constantly doing workforce reductions ever year like clockwork for 4 years now. The COO Jeff Clarke is an absolute clown as well, you have to go into the office dressed as business casual, but this guy goes to One Dell World in undersized lame t-shirts every year. Hypocrisy at all levels of this company. Just looking for a good opportunity and I am out, after talking to my co workers I feel like 70-80% feel the same. The tools also suck and are down half the time as well.
