Pros
I have only been in role for 7 or so months and I can say that this job will more than likely be my lifetime career if I can make the moves in the company that I am wanting! The key to success at a company as large as Dell is to lean into your training, ask questions, be friendly and helpful, and you can be very successful with Dell. Utilizing the people around you (even though its completely remote still) can be crucial in bringing promotions as well as a general love for this job. I love the people I work with and I support we all help each other out and this has truly been a great first position post-grad. The team/segment you are placed on plays a huge role in your enjoyment and the amount of money you can make! So if you're being interviewed with segment managers really lean in for the ones you like. I am very happy with my placement and I don't think I'll ever venture too far out of the team I am on currently!
Cons
Adapting to fully remote work has to be the only con and this is something companies all over the world have to deal with. Dell does a good job of keeping us engaged through various virtual events regularly to break up all the time spend staring at my screen.
