Pros

If you want to work in a company where in work life balance is top priority, Dell is the best place. This company offers work from home option for all its employees across. Also company provides team outings on a quarterly basis which helps in team building. Have innovation camps and fun activities on a regular basis to have the employee morale up. Infrastructure is good and the office is maintained well. Training's are provided who wishes to be updated in technology world. Package/Remuneration offered is good based on the service/experience level. Lateral entries are paid well. Overall a good company to work with.

Cons

No hikes or proper bonus if you get into IT department in Dell. No proper promotion, it is all based on the number of years you are on a particular grade and not on the performance. No performance reviews and grading system. No perks or extra benefits for employees. Monetary growth is pretty less once you enter into this company.

Limited intern bonding opportunities when compared to Round Rock office.

Pros

The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

Cons

Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
