Pros

Offices develope close knit bonds, staff nights are fun bonding experiences. No boss knit picking over day to day work unless numbers are wrong or you just dont work. Engaging interactions with the public. Great "sales" experience. If you are good, you will be able to market this job and go further into sales careers

Cons

Corporate really doesnt care.! You are just CRMs (shifts they send out) to them. They will change their policies on a dime to suit the company. Company is losing money? Lets change the pay structure!!! Seriously, 20% decrease on a whim, mean while those that live off the pay and budget for it suffer. Less CRMs? Lets increase the amount people have to work! Benefits are mediocre, specifically dental. Must work for a minimum 6 months before PTO kicks in. Bad weather? No problem! Send them out? Pitch black? No problem send them out! Director got fired? No problem!! Find a new one with no experience!!

Pros

Fun laid-back work environment. Working for a good cause and helping make an impact in the community.

Cons

Door-to-door canvassing in the winter is pretty miserable.

Pros

Good money for what it is! I enjoyed working outside and meeting new people every single day.

Cons

Hours are tough. Upper management ranges from incompetent to downright malignant. In weekly all-director meetings, canvassers (i.e. the people who actually make this company run) are talked about in abhorrently demeaning terms. Turn over rate is insane and the company has zero will to fix this, which leads to an unstable-feeling work environment. The only people who are treated with any sort of respect at all are the brass in Denver.
