Pros

- fruits, coffee, and some other goodies. - Nice work - life balance.

Cons

Not so "agile" agile-development. Agile should have much more "flexible planning in different stages of development". That's an over simplification but bear with me. Sometimes our product management only takes the word "flexible" seriously, everything else is somehow neglected or even ignored. This can be very tiring/frustrating. Sometimes coordination between labs results into chaos.

Thank you for your review and for your comments. We agree that in certain circumstances, we haven’t always promoted a true agile culture. This topic was discussed and reviewed in recent retrospective meetings and we have begun a more integrative and transparent approach to working with the teams. This approach values both functional and non-functional requirements equally, giving the teams and architects a different and proper level of input. We are also hiring PMs and UX talent to our Detroit team, in hopes of promoting product ownership and to act as a liaison between their respective cross lab colleagues. Dynatrace strives for a true agile culture— we have high hopes that our process of building a BizNoOps culture will similarly aid in encouraging that environment. Thanks again for the feedback.

Pros

Decent Product Great Perks Co-Workers

Cons

A lot of what happens to your career is beyond your control. You can be a top performer and still only meet satisfied in remarks. The customer success departments went through some changes earlier this year and it left it splintered. A lot of toxic environments take place in pockets and everyone is cliqued up. I suppose you could say this is like every corporation, but this was junior varsity level office politics. If you made someone upset you could be next. Most of the executive leadership and brings in their buddies who have no idea how the product works and all of the veterans have left by now. It's mostly a game of grab behind and brown nosing.
