      Pros

      Culture: Great office environment (love working in Downtown Detroit), awesome work/life balance, I get to go to the gym during lunch, enjoy a beverage in the kitchen with co-workers at the end of the day. Work Life: Dynatrace has gone through a lot of changes & we continue to, but I am loving it! I'm excited to see where the journey takes us & be a part of the evolution. I work for a company dominating the performance industry, that's pretty cool.

      Cons

      Change isn't for everyone. A fast paced environment that forces you to collaborate & bend isn't for everyone. If you are looking for a 9-5 go through the motions job...you won't find that here. You can't grow professionally, personally, or as a company if you stay the same.

      I haven't been here long enough to have worked out the work/life balance as well as it appears you have at this point, but Ill keep trying. Definitely not 9-5 gig, but I prefer being busy not bored. Since I signed on I have noticed more open communication from managers on issues like workload, rethinking priorities, focus on activities that will deliver best results and working to enable it vs the "work smarter not harder" BS I've heard elsewhere.

      Decent Product Great Perks Co-Workers

      Cons

      A lot of what happens to your career is beyond your control. You can be a top performer and still only meet satisfied in remarks. The customer success departments went through some changes earlier this year and it left it splintered. A lot of toxic environments take place in pockets and everyone is cliqued up. I suppose you could say this is like every corporation, but this was junior varsity level office politics. If you made someone upset you could be next. Most of the executive leadership and brings in their buddies who have no idea how the product works and all of the veterans have left by now. It's mostly a game of grab behind and brown nosing.
