Pros

There are company-wide wellness days.

Cons

At Dynatrace, compensation is strictly determined by years of professional experience, rather than the perceived value of one’s degree. As a result, despite holding a tech-related degree and having the same job title as my colleagues, I receive only tiny annual salary increases due to my limited experience. This has led to significant gaps in compensation within my team. This approach undermines our company’s salary competitiveness, particularly when compared to our primary competitors, Splunk and DataDog.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We’re glad to hear you appreciate our quarterly, company-wide paid Wellness Days. Though, we regret to hear of your experience regarding compensation. Fair compensation is something we take seriously, and we're committed to addressing any disparities to ensure that all our team members feel valued and fairly compensated for their contributions. While certain education and degrees may be valuable depending on the position, there are other factors we might consider when determining compensation, such as tenure, impact on the success of our company, and alignment to our values and culture. That’s why we continually assess our salary structures to remain competitive in the market, in addition to offering annual promotion cycles and merit raises.

Pros

Decent Product Great Perks Co-Workers

Cons

A lot of what happens to your career is beyond your control. You can be a top performer and still only meet satisfied in remarks. The customer success departments went through some changes earlier this year and it left it splintered. A lot of toxic environments take place in pockets and everyone is cliqued up. I suppose you could say this is like every corporation, but this was junior varsity level office politics. If you made someone upset you could be next. Most of the executive leadership and brings in their buddies who have no idea how the product works and all of the veterans have left by now. It's mostly a game of grab behind and brown nosing.
