Interesting international environment. Some really good international managers with a broad view who are good leaders and know how to drive their staff to achieve and excel. Some high achievers. Interesting job opportunities available. Some employee benefits are good. Salaries are just above average.
Cons
Increase in salary only possible through promotion. No clear career path. Once you are in a department you tend to stay there. Movement and advancement depends on who you know not how good you are. Connections are everything. Excelling at your job is not seen as favourable by most managers or colleagues. It tends to alienate you. Team player attitude is the buzz word but backstabbing of colleagues is well known and supported. Many managers are narrow minded. Too many incompetent people employed and promoted.
