A Terrible Workplace - Manager Farmfoods Employee Review

Working at Farmfoods in Birmingham has been an extremely disappointing and unhealthy experience for both my mental and physical health. All locations seem to operate under the same poor management style, which is riddled with issues like mental pressure, rude behavior, and a toxic work culture. The management team often consists of family members, creating favoritism and domination attitudes that leave others feeling helpless and disrespected. Team members frequently face verbal abuse, and there is absolutely no regard for employee well-being. Breaks are not allowed, and to make matters worse, they cleverly include a clause in the contract stating there’s no payment for extra hours worked, which is both exploitative and unethical. The environment is incredibly depressing, and the management’s domineering approach only adds to the stress. There’s no respect for employees, and abusive language is often used. I strongly do not recommend working at Farmfoods to anyone who values their mental health, physical well-being, or dignity.
