Pros
- Staff Discount is good if you're older and would be doing shopping there frequently. - Flexible; the store I work in would be willing to change any shift to fit a specific schedule e.g. college, other job commitments and general social plans if you give them more than one days notice. - The staff; in my store are all young and lovely to be around. Overall they have a good attitude towards work which is difficult in such a dull job. - Weekly pay - Lovely customers overall - Training process is solid
Cons
Generally the company is a mess. Understaffed, staff are always leaving which means there are commonly periods of which we are extremely understaffed. Management is difficult to come by - I've worked in the company for about 7 months and when i started there were no managers, just 4 supervisors who all didn't care about the job. We then got a manager who was awful and caused the store to go downhill. Since then we've not had a manager. - I've worked so many hours unpaid. Every week I stay late and do not get paid for it. - The pay is a joke. £4.30 an hour. I question why I get out of bed every morning to work for so little.
