Pros
Wide breadth of work, get to work on products that ship globally and see them end up in consumer's hands. Good way to pick up experience.
Cons
Way too many people to go through to get things done. Before our company was acquired by Harman, we shipped products in 6-7 months, whereas after it took more than 14 months. Since ideas had to be approved by up to 5 people in leadership, things never got done and there were a lot of products behind schedule or not even ending up shipping. Processes became harder from being acquired. Things like Gmail and Box.com became Outlook and a Harman server, which hardly ever worked properly and slowed down efficiency significantly.
