The company pay and benefits package is competitive with the industry. It's a large company so they have the financial resources to support major projects and initiatives. The strong brand names provide a competitive position in the market and open doors with potential partners.
Cons
The professional group has gone through several phases of consolidation and downsizing over the last few years. They lost the spirit and passion that made brands like AKG, Studer, JBL Pro, Sound Craft, AMX and Martin great in the first place. They are now really more of a consumer oriented A/V electronics company using commonly available generic parts riding on the past success of the brands. Only time will tell how this strategy works out going forward.
