Management does not utilize their staff. Everyone in the lab is supposed to be trained to test for microbes. Yet nobody is signed off. The training isn’t organized at all. There are people who are mentally unstable that you will have to work with daily and they’re not very good at their job. There are a lot of politics and you will not get ahead based on Merritt. It’s a popularity contest and if you’re serious about your career, use this company as a steppingstone to go work somewhere else there’s no room for advancement as a laboratory technician the management is locked in place and if you show 1 ounce of greatness, they feel threatened and will find a way to remove you.
