Pros
Great environment for workaholics or generally people who don’t mind working a lot. There is recognition of effort. More responsibilities and opportunities if you want it. Great place to kickstart your career. Great mentors if you can manage to find them.
Cons
Petrifying German bureaucracy and jaw-breaking amount of internal procedures. Compensation is in line with market level but not inspiring or motivating for employees. The HR function leaves a lot to be desired in terms of employee support. The internal education programs are uninspiring and time consuming with limited added value to the employee. Uninspiring if not nonexistent company culture and values. Your experience depends a lot on the manager you have.
