Pros

* Great PR and Growth Teams * Excellent creativity on company apparel and swag (illustrator is amongst the best in the game) * Smart & Humble people * Fun product and industry to be in * Competitive Salary * Great office environments in Montreal and Cambridge

Cons

* Upper level leadership has generally not had experience actually scaling a company to IPO * Lack of cohesive long-term product and growth strategy * Abysmal ability to manage releases on both iOS and Android for age of company * CEO is too "in the weeds" * In vs Out Culture - if you're "in" then you can do any role even if you're not qualified for it * Absolutely no learning and development initiatives or career pathing

Pros

pay, remote, some good/smart people in pockets

Cons

Senior leaders could not care less about employees and routinely make bad market decisions leading to foreseeable product issues and eventual layoff cycles. There was a time a few years back where employees criticized the dark patterns in the app - the president got pissed and said 'the data didn't show it was an issue', then a few months later when we got bad press about those patterns dismissed it as our competitors planting stories - sums up the culture pretty clearly.
