HMO, Leaves and remote opportunity

Cons

I worked there for about a year and then they laid everyone off. They posted the same position they laid people off of with lower pay! They do layoffs literally every 6 months. Before there were lay offs, I was getting a hint that they are planning to fully outsource their CS to a BPO (before then, they were we partially included in the company but this time it was full-blown). Intense micro management and no direction.

Pros

pay, remote, some good/smart people in pockets

Cons

Senior leaders could not care less about employees and routinely make bad market decisions leading to foreseeable product issues and eventual layoff cycles. There was a time a few years back where employees criticized the dark patterns in the app - the president got pissed and said 'the data didn't show it was an issue', then a few months later when we got bad press about those patterns dismissed it as our competitors planting stories - sums up the culture pretty clearly.
