Pros

You will learn alot...Most of it will be self taught....Its interesting work....If you can make it here you can make it ANYWHERE,,,,People start there careers at JCI and become extremely successful...if you are smart enough to leave....

Cons

ITS A CORPORATE MONSTER!!! Your branch has no power over corporate decisions...Horrible..Horrible benefits...There bonuses are so 1 sided,,They create bonus structures that involve other areas of there business that you have no control over...Whoever creates jobs at Johnson controls knows how to create the most F@#t up positions..The average employee works 55 to 75 hrs a week and you cannot compare the job positions with any other in the industry because they simply do not exist...especially the LSS..LEAD SYSTEM SPECIALIST POSITION...Stay very clear of this one...Unless you don't like having a life and have no intentions of starting a family...Johnson's only concern is to the SHARE HOLDER...The employee is the farthest thing from there minds!!

Pros

Decent base pay and fast paced work makes the days go by quickly. Lately the company has been actually investing in their new product lines ever since Joakim became our CEO.

Cons

The compensation is lacking. No bonuses whatsoever for senior level engineers even when they're recognized as a key contributor on the team. We are given our 401k match on March 1st to cover the previous year's matches so you lose out on a lot of the year's market gains. The healthcare coverage is mediocre at best for a fortune 500 company. The raises are still given like it's 2018; 3% is considered a "good" merit increase. This is due to the "forced distribution" merit increase system where only "so many" people can receives "above expectations" raises.
