Paid more than other customer assistant roles.

Cons

started work at 5am, made to work 2-3x harder than other supermarkets. Was on a shift with 3 people once, operating the whole supermarket. 3 people in one supermarket. very difficult.

Pros

Benefits are excellent, most people at the peer level are great. Clear performance expectations. Decent cross functional communication

Cons

Company leadership very European and doesn't quite understand the American consumer even after being in the US so long. Unreasonable expectations are the norm. No upward mobility unless you are European or speak fluent German.
