Pros

None at all. Avoid being a member of management.

Cons

Expected to work extra hours and not get paid or time in lieu. Really depends also who you are regarding how your district manager treats you. Seems to be one rule for one and another rule for the other. You just have to look at how many Deputy Managers positions they are looking to fill on a weekly basis. Horrible place to work if you are a management. If they would focus more on staff and not this thing they call productivity. In other words if you have a bad day or two sales wise you are expected to cut staff hours and send people home even though they have contracts to meet. Avoid working here at all costs. No work life balance whatsoever.

Pros

Benefits are excellent, most people at the peer level are great. Clear performance expectations. Decent cross functional communication

Cons

Company leadership very European and doesn't quite understand the American consumer even after being in the US so long. Unreasonable expectations are the norm. No upward mobility unless you are European or speak fluent German.
