Pros

None. The reason they pay so good is because they work you until you have no energy left in your entire body

Cons

Your expected to stay more than an hour after every shift without them even asking you. You will be given less than 24hours notice that you have a shift (even though it says in your contact 3 weeks) rotas are changed at the drop of a hat so if you are on a day off you will be expected to be a mind reader and know that they have changed your shift without your knowledge. The motto is "if your not sweating then your not working hard enough" you have to scan at rapid speed so if there's a 90 year old lady trying to pack her shopping and your manager is stood behind you then you have to scan at 100mph and she must keep up.. joke! Or when doing stock you have to do a pallet within 20mins whilst doing the other jobs your manager throws at you also whilst showing customers where items are also whilst being first till also whilst clock watching in case you go over the 20mins. No sick days are appropriate if you call in sick you will be told it's too short notice to get cover so you must come in.

Pros

Intelligent engaged people, Modern offices, Decent pay, and good retirement benefits.

Cons

Growing pains of a European company modifying its business to grow its American footprint. Senior leadership was mostly European. Felt disconnected from American grocery culture.
