Wouldn't personally recommend - Deputy Store Manager Lidl Employee Review

Pros

Very attractive salaries but you must understand it's a 47.5 hour working week. Five 10 hour shifts with 30min break and that's if you don't end up staying over abit. All hours clocked for so you've got record of hours you're owed. Which can be taken back in lieu when able. If you work hard and fit the culture you'll likely get on in the company

Cons

Very physically demanding work. If you are going to work here in a management postion I would only recommend store manager, anything under is just a filler who runs shifts. Salary is high but worked out per hour isn't as impressive. Unrealistic targets (everything is timed) If you've got no job then you've got nothing to lose but if you've got a good job you enjoy in retail or otherwise please don't work here for the salary, you'll regret it.
