Shambles - Store Assistant Lidl Employee Review

After being placed on Till 1 for 8 hours + per day I decided to approach a manager to explain the difficulties in feeling motivated to come to work whilst being limited to such a mundane and repetitive task day in day out. Managements response was "you need to motivate yourself". Very empowering and clearly a deep understanding / appreciation for motivation and job enrichment. Never had a performance appraisal in two years. Constantly being told you can't do this or that task without any real justification. Was never asked about development or growth
