Pros

Benefits are good such as healthcare, dental and shares

Cons

While the job description may sound appealing and the initial experience seems positive, it quickly becomes clear that this role is not worth sacrificing your mental health. The salary, which initially seems fair, does not compensate for the immense stress and pressure. You will essentially become just another number, spending hours answering back-to-back calls from angry, rude, and disrespectful customers. Your times on each call and the 10 second break you get to write your notes is constantly monitored. Worse, you will receive little to no support from management. If you're stuck on a difficult call and need a manager’s assistance, be prepared to wait a long time. Managers don’t have to deal with the calls anymore, so they treat it as "your problem." The workplace culture focuses solely on negative feedback, with little to no recognition for the positive things you accomplish. Even if you follow the correct procedures, if something goes wrong, the blame falls on you. Additionally, the responsibilities seem to keep growing after you start, with many tasks not included in the original job description. When you raise concerns, the response is simply, "We all have to deal with it." If you're thinking of leaving your current job for this one, don't.
