Pros
A good salary and range of benefits.
Cons
Constant redundancy is a way of life for employees. The favourite quote that is heard a lot is 'the only thing constant is change'. Last year somebody was crying when they announced another round of redundancy stating this was the 11th time of going through this for them and they couldn't cope anymore. It is constant and many people are in roles they didn't choose because they were moved into them following restructures. People too scared to say they don't understand what they are doing in their roles. Very unhappy workplace indeed. However they are soon moved to new roles in the next round of redundancies. People hang in there rather than leave as they'd rather be made redundant as the enhanced package is very good. If you can cope with constant change and the threat of no job always on the horizon but get paid very well then I recommend it. After I left following redundancy (hallelujah), another round of redundancies were announced within approx 3 months which shocked everybody. This is not opinion but the truth of where I worked and where I still have friends.
