If you’re a casual worker you have no rights. Plain and simple. Which means management can treat you however they like. They can call you five minutes before they want you to start and cancel, they can call and say “can you come in in 10 mins?” And if you’re busy or sick you are immediately unreliable. I was extremely sick a few times and that was seen as not good enough. They treat you like garbage there. They ignored me for months on end until I finally quit that hellhole. Oh! And also. Don’t take this job if you’re not a fan of creepy old men calling you sweetheart and wanting you to measure their extremely large stomachs.
