We work very hard with little staff, no real appreciation from above, we are paid the award rate and not a penny more, no bonuses, a lot of good staff and managers leave, management complain if we go over the wages budget or someone needs to work overtime but if no one worked overtime then the shops would not open, a lot of pressure to work public holidays such as Boxing Day, Near Years Day and Anzac Day when the shops should be shut anyway.
