So many downsides, The stores understaffed because of poor budgeting meaning everyones over worked and stressed. Trying to reach store targets which again aren't easily attainable because of the stressful environment created and lack of employees.
You're treated and viewed as a drone rather than a person at times and are asked to do pointless tasks such as standing at the door to appease corporate goals, instead of doing practical work to help other colleagues on the shop floor.
Managers follow you around rather than being proactive.
Some colleagues couldnt get any shifts due to management overspending in the christmas periods.
Everyone has to work unsociable hours. (6am starts or 10pm finishes)
