Pros

- work-life balance - FTOs - WFH

Cons

- no career progression - low pay, low increments - very slow promotions - analysts are treated like dogs/cogs in the machine - although analysts are key drivers for ensuring revenue (keeping clients happy, doing the actual everyday work), they are very disrespected, very lowly paid (compared to sales, CS, etc.), don't get commissions (even if they've helped to retain/renew customers), always having to clean up the mess created by sales/CS/etc bcos they like to overpromise/jump the gun (this structure is supported by mgt hence why disrespected, and mind you, they still get their comms despite the shitshow while analysts have to tank the work with ZERO compensation) - no development

Pros

The product is cool and if properly onboarded customers will get value from it. Coworkers are fairly social If you are new to sales would be a good place to learn the basics

Cons

Probably the cheapest company I have ever worked for. Benefits are below standard, they changed the commission plan every year I was there so that you would make less money, and you are expected to share hotel rooms when you travel. Look up Meltwater on Reddit or LinkedIn. They are known for very aggressive sales tactics which you will be forced to implement on your customers. A culture of micromanagement that comes from the top down. Virtually no avenue for promotion unless you are willing to move or get lucky and someone leaves.
