Company has never cared about any positions except sales, it is PAINFULLY obvious when they only invite sales teams to literally any “company” get together; all about outsourcing cheap labor overseas or to contractors, zero investment in current employees.
Now they’ve laid off dozens of people who have been here for a decade+, reducing senior leadership capabilities, as well as brought in people on the C-suite level and let them go within a few years.
Appears the company has an extremely disjointed strategy at the moment and is desperately trying to shed headcount as they prep for what their backers hope will be a sale to some other company when it’s no longer their problem to worry about.
