Pros

I've worked at Meltwater for less than 6 months, and was warmly welcomed with open arms. I was impressed from day 1 with the organized onboarding and orientation processes in place. My director and team members were very thorough in explaining the Meltwater products and really took the time to ensure that I understood the product, my responsibilities and responsibilities of other teams with in the company, and the company culture. Working with other members of my team is one of my favorite parts of my job. Although I run many programs on my own, it's always great to know that other team members are there to help and are always willing to bounce ideas around. Our office is definitely a supportive and collaborative environment. Other pros: - great culture and lots of office perks - different teams/department work great together - great products that you can easily get behind and support - a company and work environment that supports learning and training

Cons

Meltwater is a large global company - meaning, there's a lot of moving parts. Understanding the company lingo is a bit overwhelming at first, but you eventually get the hang of it. Be prepared to learn quickly.

Pros

The product is cool and if properly onboarded customers will get value from it. Coworkers are fairly social If you are new to sales would be a good place to learn the basics

Cons

Probably the cheapest company I have ever worked for. Benefits are below standard, they changed the commission plan every year I was there so that you would make less money, and you are expected to share hotel rooms when you travel. Look up Meltwater on Reddit or LinkedIn. They are known for very aggressive sales tactics which you will be forced to implement on your customers. A culture of micromanagement that comes from the top down. Virtually no avenue for promotion unless you are willing to move or get lucky and someone leaves.
