Pros

- Young and collaborative colleagues - Decent salary base for university graduates

Cons

- Analysts were constantly overworked, we had to work extra hours in addition of doing shift work without getting overtime pay. - Unfair bonus system for involvement in projects. Management does not provide a breakdown in the amount of bonus we receive, and even though you may partake many projects your bonus might still be lower than someone which management deems as more valuable. - Management also displays favourtism outrightly, especially by the team's project manager. This was evident to everyone in the team. - Analysts do not get constructive feedback from project manager on their performance, she does not know how to lead the team to perform better and cannot provide Analysts with suggestions for improvement. - Promises made prior during interview where not met and you will not get any career progression here. - Learning slope is only demanding during the first few months of your work, once you get used to the process daily work becomes mundane and repetitive. - Software is not as good as they advertise it to be, most of the time a lot of manual work is involved in order to generate reports for clients. - Turnover rate is really high, Analysts quitting after one another is a norm here.

Pros

The product is cool and if properly onboarded customers will get value from it. Coworkers are fairly social If you are new to sales would be a good place to learn the basics

Cons

Probably the cheapest company I have ever worked for. Benefits are below standard, they changed the commission plan every year I was there so that you would make less money, and you are expected to share hotel rooms when you travel. Look up Meltwater on Reddit or LinkedIn. They are known for very aggressive sales tactics which you will be forced to implement on your customers. A culture of micromanagement that comes from the top down. Virtually no avenue for promotion unless you are willing to move or get lucky and someone leaves.
