Pros
- Fun colleagues. - Open office. - Dynamic environment.
Cons
The micro-managing is the worst part about this office. - Strict 1hr lunch break from 1230-130. - Strict time to make calls. If you talk, you get scolded. - Blocked out dates from travelling. Cannot travel for more than 1 week +. - Not 'allowed' to say certain things in the office even without the presence of clients because management does not like 'negativity', even if it's talking about the broken product that we're selling. Monthly sales targets. Very high pressure. People are praised for doing well, no encouragement to those who are not. Lies. Lies to clients about the product. Lies to employees. Don't expect to be treated like an adult. They will say it's because of the number of fresh grads here, but you have more freedom in school because at least there you are penalised for your grades and not your behavior. The lack of respect is unacceptable. It's just a popularity contest. Forced 'culture'. People are judged based on how much they engage in 'cultural' activities. Hitting your KPIs are one thing, but showing people that you're hitting your KPIs or trying to do so is more important. You won't get far if you're not a suck up or constantly telling people about your accomplishments. Very superficial workplace and management. They say they care about feedback, but they don't. They 'listen', give you a generic response and nothing changes. Just look at the reviews here and the responses.
