Really poor representation of female leadership, the company touts that there is more than 50% female leadership, however, where it really matters, in executive and regional management, there is less than 20% leadership across the board.
Meltwater management does not encourage dynamic thinking, they aim to drive the organisation with 'yes' people rather than surround themselves with different opinions and thought patterns, it's a poor sign of leadership and a surefire way to lose future leaders within the company.
Leaders and senior management need more training on people development initiatives and leadership principles. There is high turn over in people who have been at the company for 1-3/4 years, this is because they are not being developed as either promised or because their managers and leaders don't know how to keep them engaged, motivated and working towards their next career step. Many current and previous employees have spoken about their lack of development and motivation at the hands of their senior leaders and managers, and that career conversations are almost always either the same or inevitably a carrot of 'more sales = promotion' is dangled in front of them to be considered for a promotion.
