Pros

Time flexibility Salary as per market standards

Cons

Worst company to ever work for. It shutdown entire business unit without any prior notice. No proper roadmap. No compensation in case your fired except for notice period. Worst US management ever seen in my life. Recent updates it has shutdown two big business unit of around 80+ people. Don’t ruined your career just becoz you get good salary in nuance. It is worst company I ever worked. This company is going to be doomed soon. Stocks are also falling sharply.

Thank you for your feedback on Nuance. As a technology company, our product portfolio often changes based on the speed of technology evolution. There was not a shutdown of a department but rather a consolidation of groups based on discovery of long term strategy need. HR has put in place an in-placement program which is currently running to help support these individuals. The goal is to help place internally as many individuals as possible and we encourage anyone impacted to use the resources in this program.

Pros

The company offers excellent training and a thorough onboarding process, helping new hires feel well-prepared and confident. The small, close-knit teams foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where you never feel lost in the crowd. Employees take pride in the innovative technology and software being developed, which is recognized as impactful within the industry. (Note: The company was acquired by Microsoft to bring potential for future growth.)

Cons

While the company excels in many areas, there’s limited upward mobility, especially in certain career paths, which can be frustrating for those seeking advancement. Additionally, feedback from employees often feels like it’s not taken seriously, which can lead to disengagement when trying to influence change or improve processes.
