Pros

Decent salary for so little work; great job if you're sliding into retirement or just a slacker by nature. Great if you have little ambition or if you don't mind having to cover for other people's inadequacies.

Cons

No leadership, poor departmental management; no hope for professional growth. Management of the Medical Affairs/Medical Writing departments would not try to identify individual employee strengths, experience, and expertise or enhance them to appropriately position them to significantly contribute to the growth of the company. Petty and personal feelings can and will interfere with an employee's livelihood. Poor recognition by upper management of serious issues in the above-mentioned departments that can undermine the company's success in certain key regulatory areas.

Pros

Great place to work. Coworkers and management were very supportive. Had a very positive we-are-all-on-the-same-team atmosphere.

Cons

Not many, it really was a great place to work.

Pros

Some great team members Some leadership (middle managers) are great and truly care The company does a lot of good work

Cons

- Senior Leadership in Switzerland is 100% out of touch with reality, setting goals that are not attainable - They hire some questionable people to make decisions - If you're not in the EU, you're garbage - Max "raise" is 10% every 3 years for most people, unless you're in HR - Promotions can be squashed from the Swiss if they don't like you, even if your manager and director want the promotion - The sales team is full of legacy vets who can't sell, therefore the rest of the company gets punished - Career advancement is a joke - Company claims they listen to data, but often times ignores it - CEO is non existent and uses mouth pieces to pass along his messages - Active attempts at cutting anyone out who doesn't drink the kool-aid, or the swiss don't feel are true experts at their job (based on what, who knows)
