Excellent people to work with. No mid layer management crap. All people at senior levels have risen through the ranks. Excellent benefits for entire family. Perhaps the best in US!!
Cons
Employers in Bay Area pay atleast 10% more than what Qualcomm offers in San Diego. It is high time salary correction is made for San Diego employees since the cost of living at San Diego is similar to that of Bay Area. On a few days, work can get crazy and I end up staying long hours to finish it up...This perhaps is part of Qualcomm culture to give what it takes to keep customers happy!! Also, it is common to work during weekends, if you are in town
