Business Outlook
Pros
Intelligent people in technical leadership. Long history supporting new innovation and encouraging new ideas. Company is growing at a healthy pace. My team had very little interference from middle management. That was not the case for the majority of engineering teams in the company. Specifically the Austin office (where I worked) was a great atmosphere for learning and taking technical risks.
Cons
Middle management is a cancer. Too many low performers who never seem to leave the company. There is very little cooperation between teams and almost none between business organization. Software is not shared. Bonuses are small.
