Pros

1. Great work life balance. 2. No micro management. 3. free food/Transportation. 4. Lot of extra curricular activities 5. Mostly only the company where even MD of company wants to speak and wants to know whats going on. 6. Highly transparent. No hiding behind the walls. They disclose anything much in advance.

Cons

1. Not much of Java Work available. If your basic Skill is Java this is not the company for you. 2. favoritism and regionalism exists. 3. Managers Like employees who praise them and who speak nicely to them. 4. However good you are promotions only based on experience, that too SAP experience(if you're from outside with considerable exp then also they consider SAP exp though he is less experienced) 5. Due to their rapid growth pace their recruitment has been compromised . Not all colleagues are good at their job. 6. More of service company pay . They compare themselves with Indian It services. 7. Their process is bit confused. They recently started following scrum/ASE. Not all roles are clear about their responsibilities.constant fight between product owners, architects, line managers about roles and responsibilities.

Pros

I really liked my role at SAP. After being a cloud Customer Success Manager supporting strategic clients for several years, I moved into a group doing digital customer outreach including producing newsletters, release enablement, webcasts, documentation, event registrations, etc. Salary and bonuses were good, no complaints there.

Cons

No real cons for the job that I was in, except that our group was eliminated by the corporate restructuring and reduction in workforce in North America in 2025. I would have loved to stay but unfortunately we probably showed up on a restructuring spreadsheet somewhere and it was determined that our services were no longer needed. We off-boarded most of our work to other existing employees (who already had full time jobs), which felt unfair to them, but that is how it shook out.
