Pros

Great benefits and work life balance. I love the focus on diversity and inclusion in the company. Truly felt like a global company, until the board ousted Jen Morgan. The stock program, OwnSAP, is a great value for employees. You can contribute up to 10% of each paycheck to the program and SAP will match 40% of what you contribute (up to some ceiling). The stock immediately vests, so if even you don't want to invest in SAP you can immediately sell it and essentially increase your salary by 4% for free.

Cons

Booted Jen Morgan in favor of a German CEO. Feels hypocritical to tout diversity and inclusion as a key value in SAP, then find an excuse to push out one of the most qualified businesswoman in the world. If the board didn't want co-CEOs, then why did they agree to it in the first place? Massive loss to SAP.

Thank you for your review and appreciate your feedback on great benefits, work-life balance, and how you love the focus on diversity and inclusion. As an SAP employee myself, I was personally heartbroken of Jen’s departure. Not because she is a women, but because she is an inspiring thoughtful leader. On behalf of the team, we wish her the very best. At SAP, we have 100,000+ employees. Jen is amazing. But we have to remember we have 100,000 amazing employees. We have strong leaders like Christian who believes and promotes inclusiveness. We have many amazing vibrant organizations such as Business Women’s’ Network with 85 active chapters and 14,000+ members globally offering networking, training, mentoring, and sponsorship programs.

Pros

I really liked my role at SAP. After being a cloud Customer Success Manager supporting strategic clients for several years, I moved into a group doing digital customer outreach including producing newsletters, release enablement, webcasts, documentation, event registrations, etc. Salary and bonuses were good, no complaints there.

Cons

No real cons for the job that I was in, except that our group was eliminated by the corporate restructuring and reduction in workforce in North America in 2025. I would have loved to stay but unfortunately we probably showed up on a restructuring spreadsheet somewhere and it was determined that our services were no longer needed. We off-boarded most of our work to other existing employees (who already had full time jobs), which felt unfair to them, but that is how it shook out.
