Pros

Great teams, people, and very friendly from day 1. There is lots to do and lots of ambition and support from the company to do it and make a difference. Lots of change, which is a positive and negative, but I see it is a positive step to run the business better.

Cons

Always difficult for people to go through the change so not everyone bought into it, sadly that means not everyone wants to stay but I believe the company needs the change to grow and progress.

Thanks for review about Sage. It's great to hear you find our people friendly and supportive - our people really are our biggest asset and they are awesome! At Sage, you're certainly kept on your toes! Always lots of fantastic challenges, working at pace...maybe working outside your comfort zone but the rewards pay dividends. Yes, change can be difficult for some but working in tech - where the world changes all the time and it's disruptive too, it's something we all adapt to...some love it, others don't. But if you love it, Sage is the place to grow and develop. Thanks again for reviewing Sage and keep loving #LifeatSage.

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Cons

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
