Pros

Looks great on a resume, global company/transfer anywhere, small staff and small boutique make an easy friendly family relationship. You lean so many different software systems that are transferable to other retailers. You get Holidays off. You get to pick your own schedule, most of the time. It is possible to move up if you do more than your job requires. All ways be the first one to offer assistance or volunteer, and you won't have any workplace drama, and as a bonus they will give you increased benefits by paying your drive time and treating you to lunch. Paid Vacations, Medical insurance, discounts on car insurance and life insurance. 401k programs. $2k scholarship opportunities for you kids college.

Cons

Revolving door as far a corporate/upper management, if you want to move up within you have to travel to other stores, what ever you negotiated at signing is what you will be paid(raises every year if you made your numbers at a 1% increase. You have to follow the dress code which is intense. I.E. (High heels, make up every day, manicured nails, only certain nail polish, only certain cuts and lengths of blouses and bottoms, only certain hair styles, only 4 color options for clothes, lace only on sides of clothing, no patterns). You make goals as a team, so if someone doesn't do their job and make their numbers you do not bonus.
