      Traveling to incredible places, getting work experience far beyond your peers, opportunities to expand skills and qualifications usually for free, gaining a highly desirable skill set and credential.

      Cons

      Exhausting work hours, a micromanaged life, working with/for difficult, sometimes abusive personalities, very little life stability with moving and traveling, missing lots of family events, and the obvious danger of deployments.

      Pros

      Getting 2.5days of accrued leave per month is nice, which adds up over time. You can request leave whenever within your schedule and it won't be denied.

      Cons

      Not too much structure when it comes to squadron training. Depends on your squadron but leadership can really determine your experience.
