Pros
I enjoy the job security of working in the Air Force. Another positive is the pride I take in doing my job everyday. I have also had the chance to travel around the world and see all sorts of sights. The Air Force has also provided valuable training in the Information systems career field.
Cons
Some of the downsides to working with the Air Force are the long deployments and time away from home and family. Another issue with the military as a whole is the lower rate of pay. This is more true with the technical career fields. Also leaders look to rank often more than knowledge in the tasks at hand.
