      good training in your particular job, you get a security clearance if you're in a particular job, alot of pride working in the defense of your country

      Cons

      Can be political, sometimes can be alot of sacrifice, in terms of time away from family

      Pros

      Laid back environment get your work done and you can coast.

      Cons

      Appraisals are off of the buddy system more often than not i.e. if you went to the same college as your supervisor you’ll likely get good scores if not good luck.
